In response to the article you reference and a direct quote from the CNN story:

"Victoria Taylor, a senior dietitian with the British Heart Foundation, told Science Media Centre that "this type of study can only show an association, rather than cause and effect, and more research is needed for us to understand the reasons behind this link."

People who eat 3+ eggs per week were associated with an increase in heart disease, but not necessarily confirming eggs caused the heart disease.

Pasture-raised eggs are key. In my article I specifically mention this and also that eggs increase the large LDL particles (good ones) vs the small, dense LDL particles (bad ones).
