Foundational Correction & ADD/ADH

There’s one thing that many people are yet to come to terms with, which is that — attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and attention deficit disorder (ADD) aren’t psychological disorders.

In the real sense, both are neurological conditions that originate from the central nervous system. So, to help kids and others suffering from this condition, the doctor has to work on their central nervous system and allow it to function optimally.

This article will examine the symptoms of ADD and ADHD and the role of the alignment of upper neck bones in these conditions. After that, we will explore the natural treatments for ADHD patients, one being upper cervical chiropractic.

Overview of ADHD

ADHD is the acronym for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. It is a prevalent disorder of childhood. However, the term ADHD is a broad one, and the symptoms and severity of the condition vary from person to person.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, there are at least 6.4 million kids diagnosed with ADHD.

ADHD may be called attention deficit disorder (ADD) in some cases. However, the term ADD is outdated. ADD was used to describe people who had trouble maintaining focus but were not hyperactive.
