Water is vital for your health — there’s no doubt about that.

Water accounts for over 75% of your body weight. In addition, it regulates most body functions, from brain function to digestion, physical performance, and much more (1).

While we understand that drinking water is good for your health, it is essential to consider whether this is the best way to stay hydrated. In this article, we will think about whether drinking water all day is the best way to stay hydrated or not.

Should you drink water every time to stay hydrated?

Very few things are as good for your health as staying hydrated. Proper hydration helps with everything from improved skin elasticity to healthy heart function. In addition, the health benefits of hydration will make you happier and help you remain productive. The problem, however, is that most people in the Western world, especially America, do not drink enough water. Inadequate intake of water can result in chronic hydration. In addition, dehydration has several nasty side effects, such as a high risk of stroke, overeating, and mental fog.
