Dr. Brett Berner has a passion for helping people and has spent his entire life impacting people’s lives in a positive way. As a student in a medical program at Palm Harbor University High School, this paved the way for his pursuit to help care for people. He was introduced to chiropractic when he was working on his Bachelor’s Degree at Florida State University. After shadowing local chiropractors, he learned about Foundational Correction using Upper Cervical Chiropractic and witnessed the results of one of the leading offices in the country.
What got him to pursue this Foundational path further was when he visited home during winter break from college and noticed his dad was using a cane to walk because he was experiencing an overwhelming pain in his low back. Dr. Berner’s dad served time in the military and has dealt with this issue for quite some time, but this was worse. It broke his heart to see him in that condition, so he referred him immediately to the Foundational Chiropractor he had shadowed a few months prior. The doctor analyzed the radiographs and confirmed that his dad had a Foundational Shift, which caused his secondary complaint of low back pain. After his foundation was corrected, his dad stood up, walked out, left his cane behind, and has never used it to this day. His health and life were changed for good, and Dr. Berner never looked back after finding his purpose as a Foundational Chiropractor.
After receiving his Doctorate of Chiropractic from the prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic, he was ready to start getting people healthier. In his clinical experience, he has cared for patients of all ages, from newborns to the elderly. He is a huge supporter of ketosis and intermittent fasting and has presented these topics to the public numerous times.
Dr. Berner is excited to meet the community and impact friends and family’s health and lives through this unique form of chiropractic care called Foundational Correction.
